EMS are thrilled to have maintained UKAS accreditation for Inspection following a successful assessment. EMS were pleased to host their assessor for two days, in which a variety of quality, technical and practical areas were assessed and reviewed.

EMS now enter their 10^th year of UKAS accreditation. We first gained UKAS accreditation on 21^st May, 2008 and have successfully maintained our accreditation every year since.

There are only eight UKAS accredited companies in the West Midlands and EMS are the only inspection body accredited to UKAS in Herefordshire. There are 167 UKAS accredited inspection bodies for asbestos surveying with the UK.

UKAS is the UKs National Accreditation Body, responsible for determining, in the public interest, the technical competence and integrity of organisations such as those offering testing, calibration and certification services. UKAS provide ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation performing various types of inspection, surveys and risk assessments.
