One of our surveyors recently visited a site in South Wales with a house which was made up almost entirely of asbestos products.
He was called to the site in South Wales to undertake an intrusive external asbestos survey.
Following the commencement of the survey he began to notice more and more asbestos. In total he identified insulation board to side elevations gables, cement based insulation board to the whole house, textured coating and stramit board, with asbestos debris located in the garden.
Our surveyor described it as a “fireproof residence” due to the amount and extent of asbestos used in the construction process of the property.
Recommendations were made to the owner for the licensed removal of all asbestos from the site.
