EMS has UKAS accreditation for its asbestos surveying operations covering Type 1, 2 & 3 surveys. EMS has an experienced contaminated and geotechnical team offering a complete service including phase 1 desk studies, phase II site investigations and contaminated land risk assessments, remediation option appraisal, strategy and validation reports. We have the ability to undertake trial holes, window sampling, shell & auger boring and rotary drilling in association with long term monitoring for groundwater and ground gas.

The phased implementation of the Energy Performance Building Directive will see the requirement for Energy Performance Certificates on all buildings at point of lease or sale by October 2008.
