Environmental Management Solutions are an environmental consultancy based in Hereford specialising in UKAS accredited asbestos consultancy for a vast range of clients including Housing Associations, NHS Trusts and local authorities as well as a wide range of private clients. EMS also have a Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental department EMS Geotech, and our sister company EMS Water provides legionella consultancy and water safety services.

Established in 2003, EMS have grown into a nationally recognised environmental consultancy with a wide range of private and public sector clients and contracts. Due to continuing expansion of the company and gaining a number of new large contracts in 2021/2022,  EMS have vacancies available for several new trainees to join our busy team.

The candidate will be given full training and undertake relevant qualifications as part of the role. The training programme for candidates will involve training and working with both our asbestos and water teams and learning how to undertake environmental surveys. The candidate will be expected to travel throughout the UK. Standard working hours will be Monday to Friday however the ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude to working hours including occasional evening and weekend work.

The position is full time and will be based from our Hereford office; we have several contracts in Hereford, Worcester and Gloucestershire but also work throughout the UK and have offices in Hereford, Worcester, Cardiff and London.

A full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
